D1P008: Description of project objectives/concepts
D1P008: Description of project objectives/conceptsLocated in Altos de Lubia (Soria), it is part of the Department of Energy, and is considered a pioneering centre in the field of biomass in Spain. Energy efficiency in buildings is also done at this facility and it is a national and European reference in mini wind power.
D1P009: Description of project upscaling strategies/potential
D1P009: Description of project upscaling strategies/potential-AGISTIN_Advanced Grid Interfaces for innovative STorage INtegration. Ref. HORIZON- CL5-2022-D3-01-11. Develop new forms of energy storage that meet the short-term flexibility and stability needs of the grid, reduce the impact of new and large demand on the network, and lower costs for major grid users through innovative integration of storage. -SINNOGENES_Storage Innovation for Green ENergy Systems. Ref. HORIZON- CL5-2022-D3-01-11. Develop the energy toolkit, a comprehensive framework of methodologies, tools, and technologies that will enable the grid integration of innovative storage solutions while demonstrating sustainability, technical performance, lifespan, independence from geographical location specifics, and cost. -Gestión Energética de Vehículos. Programa MOVES Proyecto Singulares II. Integrate a fleet of 12 electric vehicles (two plug-in hybrid cars, two fully electric cars, and 8 electric bicycles) into the smart microgrid of CEDER-CIEMAT for use in the center's activities. -TIGON_Towards Intelligent DC-based hybrid Grids Optimizing the Network performance. Ref. H2020-LC-SC3-2018-2019-2020. Achieve the deployment and seamless integration of direct current smart grid structures within the current energy system, while providing ancillary services to the main grid. -CITIES_Ciudades Inteligentes Totalmente Integrales, Eficientes y Sostenibles. Programa Iberoamericano de Ciencia y tecnología para el Desarrollo CYTED. Development of a strategic planning methodology that helps guide the cities in the region toward sustainability through cooperation and knowledge transfer among the participating research groups. http://www.cyted.org/cities. -THEUS_Transmission and distribution Hybrid nEtworks with enhanced resilience and robUstnesS. Ref. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D3-01-13. Showcase advanced methodologies and tools supporting hybrid grids implementation across High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) levels. It will contribute to a more interoperable and resilient pan-European energy system, aiming to significantly reduce energy losses and operation and maintenance (O&M) costs. -Previous projects: MAGYSTER, TOGETHER, ENERGYSIS, REDHIDRO, MIRED-CON OVI-RED, SORIA(+X-)
